   D100 Plan for ARP ESSER Funds   

 

The American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief fund provides states and school districts help to safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the nation’s students.

District 100 plan for allocating ESSER III funds:

   Staffing & Resources to support student learning and social emotional needs   

  • Continued funding for math interventionists for elementary schools (6)

  • Continued funding for Social workers (2)

  • Continued funding for Dual language/EL teachers (2)

  • Counseling partnership with Youth Crossroads for middle schools (2)

  • Summer school programs

  • After-school tutoring

  • Full-time substitute teachers to support quarantined students (10)

  • 24/7 Digital tutoring platform - Grades 3-8

   Community Outreach   

  • Parent liaison

 

   Transportation   

  • Small bus

  • Bus assistants

 

   Health & Safety   

  • Expanded learning spaces

  • Lunchroom support

  • Cleaning/disinfecting supplies

 

   Facilities - Ventilation & Air Quality   

  • Univents - multiple elementary schools

  • Asbestos removal

  • Long-range facilities plan items
