absent from school please call 708-795-2342.
Regular attendance is important for
continuous academic growth. Absence from school, except for health
reasons, should be kept to a minimum. Parents should realize that poor
attendance could be a possible reason for a student to be retained at the
end of the school year. As required by law, parents must phone the
school's attendance number before 9:00 AM to report a pupil absence each day
the student is absent.
After 10 days of consecutive absence
the student may be dropped from school and must register to re-enter.
Extended leaves or vacations are discouraged and unexcused during the school
year.
