Berwyn South School District 100

Berwyn South School District 100 will rank within the top 25% of districts in the State of Illinois as evidenced by state testing.

Adopted by the Board of Education, May 25, 2011

The mission of School District No. 100 is to provide positive, appropriate learning opportunities for each student. These opportunities shall foster the development of basic values, good citizenship and a sense of self worth to enable students to be productive citizens in a rapidly changing world.

School District No. 100 will enhance learning by supporting:
• A competent and caring staff who strive to teach by example
• A creative, comprehensive and effective curriculum
• A safe, orderly and stimulating environment

South Berwyn School District 100 is excited to announce online enrollment for the upcoming 2013-2014 school year!  

This electronic process replaces the paper forms that guardians complete each year for registration.  You have the opportunity to pay for your child’s registration fee with a credit card in this secure program.  

Step 1: Update information online. You will receive a code by mail to begin. We will have computers at our schools for your use if needed during school hours. 

Step 2: Bring the 4 proofs of residence that are needed to confirm your home addressYou may bring these documents to your child’s home school on any school day from 8AM to 3PM from Monday, May 20, 2013 through Friday, May 31, 2013. 

Additional dates and times:
Monday, June 3, 2013 from 7AM - 12PM
Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 1PM - 6PM 

*Registration is completed for your child when online information is updated, proofs of registration are provided and registration fee is paid. 


Berwyn South School District 100 is named an Apple Distinguished Program

Berwyn, Illinois -- January 5, 2013 -- School District 100 is pleased to announce that it has been named an Apple Distinguished Program for 2012-2013 school year for its 1:1 Wireless Device Program. District 100 is 100% 1:1 (one to one) utilizing iPads and MacBook laptops that students and staff are allowed to take home to continue their learning 24/7.  Because of student and staff successes, the 1:1 initiative started as a pilot in May, 2010 and turned into a necessary program for our entire district in August, 2012.

The Apple Distinguished Program designation is reserved for programs that meet criteria for innovation, leadership, and educational excellence and demonstrate Apple’s vision of exemplary learning environments.
